I even had trouble getting it to rest over the one star rating so that I could click "Hate it". I realized later that this is an optical mouse, and I should have gone with a laser mouse which gives much smoother movement. I need a mouse with a fast response for the work I do, and this one has caused nothing but frustration. I am very dissapointed in this mouse. Going to try and click "Submit" now. I am so frustated with it, I am going to have to purchase another mouse before I throw this one across the room. It is very jerky in its movement over the mousepad, and slow in response. I should have stuck with Logitech and spent the extra money.
I'll email Microsoft about that though and hope a next generation wireless mouse will incorporate a tiny USB device for such applications. The connector is about 2" long, requring me to always be careful I don't bump/disconnect it when balancing the machine on my lap or moving it from one place to another. The item works great and was recognized immediately by my PC.However, the wireless USB mouse connecter is kind of big. I'm using it with my notebook PC which only has side USB ports.
If you hook it up to a new Toshiba, you will need a microsoft patch installed, since some piece of software was incompatible with the mouse's. Great size for folks with little hands.movement can be a tiny bit erratic, but not a problem. I would recommend this product.
The green light on it starts blinking and will not stop blinking until you unplug it and plug it back in. I'd say this is a great mouse, but the only cons about this product is that if you happen to accidentally shake/wiggle the usb.
love this product, even better love the price.same mouse goes for $28.00 in stores.B.MeyersMarietta,Ga
